The 3rd edition was published in summer 2010 and corresponds to the RCM 2008 Theory Syllabus. This book contains material on two-voice counterpoint including: 1:1; 2:1; 3:1 and 4:1 styles. It includes the study of Florid Counterpoint in two-part invention and dance style, plus invertible counterpoint. There are chapters on fugal exposition and on the writing of a fugal Countersubject.
